Ashley County Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Warren “Skip” MacDonald
to their team. A native of Pennsylvania, MacDonald has been practicing
for 39-years. He received his medical degree from M.D. Jefferson Medical
College in Philadelphia. His residency training in Orthopedic surgery
was completed at the United States Naval Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr.
MacDonald is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
As an Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. MacDonald uses both surgical and nonsurgical
means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, infections, degenerative
diseases, tumors and congenital disorders. He specializes in joint replacement,
trauma, arthroscopy, and concussions. Dr. Macdonald says he wants to “bring
orthopaedic and concussion care close to home.”
