Social Services Team at Ashley County Medical Center
Assistance for Patients at our Crossett Hospital
Ashley County Medical Center’s Social Services Team is here to assist
patients and their families with a variety of needs. From psychiatric
treatment to discharge planning needs, the social workers complement ACMC’s
staff of professional doctors and nurses to take excellent care of all
patients and their families.
Social Services staff are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
and as needed.
Meet the Team
Jaime Ables, LMSW
Jaime received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the
University of Louisiana at Monroe in Psychology. She received her Master’s
Degree in Social Work from Grambling State University. Jaime has been
the therapist for the Ashley IOP Program since it opened in April of 2008.
Jaime has been the social work consultant for the Generations Inpatient
Unit since December of 2008. She became manager of the Social Services
Department in April of 2014.
Jaime performs assessments of potential patients for the IOP program, leads
group and individual therapy sessions, conducts psychosocial assessments,
oversees the treatment plan including carrying out the goals set for each
patient, and communicates closely with the psychiatrist and other members
of the treatment team to provide care for the patients in the IOP program
on a daily basis.
Jami Hartshorn, BSW
Jami holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University
of Arkansas at Monticello. Jami joined Ashley County Medical Center in
2002 after completing her internship in Generations.
Jami is the Primary Therapist in the Generations Inpatient Psychiatric
unit. She performs the Generations pre-admission screenings, conducts
group/individual therapy sessions, completes biopsychosocial assessments,
holds family meetings, and leads the discharge planning process. Jami
also creates an individualized treatment plan for each patient and works
closely with the psychiatrist and other treatment team members to carry
out this plan.
Holly Lane, BSW
Holly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University
of Arkansas at Monticello. Holly has been with Ashley County Medical Center
since February of 2016.
Holly’s responsibilities include daily rounding on patients in our
Med Surg unit and CCU/ICU unit as well as referrals for patients to nursing
home care, rehab units, home health, community resources, addiction treatment
and the list goes on. Holly works closely with medical doctors, nurses,
and other staff to ensure that all patient’s and family’s
needs are met.
Tami Holland, BSW
Tami Holland joined the ACMC team in November 2014. Tami received her Bachelors
in Social Work in May 2014 from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Currently, she is working as the Activity Director and therapist for Generations
and also assists with ACMC Home Health, Ashley IOP, Swingbed and on the
Medical/Surgical floor when needed. Prior to ACMC, Tami acted as an Activity
Therapist for Daysprings and interned at Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family
Services while obtaining her degree.
