Financial Counseling & Registration

Ashley County Medical Center’s mission is to establish an introduction to our facility while registering patients for services. With a sophisticated and electronic system, we attempt to validate your demographic information as well as insurance eligibility and requirements to ensure maximum insurance reimbursement for your visit while providing an estimate of patient responsibility to alleviate financial stress. We also offer a Financial Assistance Program that offers discounted charges for services to eligible patients that may cover all or a portion of their bill. Please see our Financial Assistance Program Application and Policy for additional information.

Health Information

Our Health Information Management team are the professional custodians of data and information for the complete patient record. They are responsible for the services of planning, collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and disseminating individual and aggregate clinical data. The data is managed between consumers, providers, and payers in the forms of diagnosis and procedural coding.
