Social Services

Assistance for Patients at our Crossett Hospital

Ashley County Medical Center’s Social Services Team is here to assist patients and their families with a variety of needs. From psychiatric treatment to discharge planning needs, the social workers complement ACMC’s staff of professional doctors and nurses to take excellent care of all patients and their families.

Social Services staff are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm and as needed.

Meet the Team

Annie Haynes, LCSW

Annie earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2010. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2014. She has been a Licensed Certified Social Worker since November 2016. She has been the Social Services Director, therapist for the Ashley IOP program, and social work consultant for Generations Inpatient Unit since August of 2019. Annie performs assessments of potential patients for the IOP program, leads group and individual therapy sessions, conducts psychosocial assessments, oversees the treatment plan including carrying out the goals set for each patient, and communicates closely with the psychiatrist and other members of the treatment team to provide care for the patients in the IOP program on a daily basis. Prior to ACMC, Annie worked at Delta Counseling in community mental health, provided school based mental/behavioral health services with Preferred Family Healthcare, and was an IOP therapist in Transitions at Drew Memorial Health Systems.

Barron Brown, LMSW

Barron earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She joined the ACMC team in October 2020. She provides individual and group therapy in IOP and Generations. She also provides services for the social services department. Prior to joining ACMC, she completed her master’s level internship at Cypress Grove Behavioral Health in Bastrop, Louisiana. Her experience in the social services field include the Arkansas Department of Children and Family Services.

Tami Holland, BSW

Tami Holland joined the ACMC team in November 2014. Tami earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work in May 2014 from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Currently, she is working as the Activity Director and Behavioral Health Case Manager for Generations and also assists with ACMC Home Health, Ashley IOP, Swingbed and on the Medical/Surgical floor when needed. Prior to ACMC, Tami acted as an Activity Therapist for Daysprings and interned at Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services while working towards her degree.

Jeremy McDaniel , Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

Jeremy McDaniel, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a focus on Crisis Counseling from Liberty University. Jeremy joined the Ashley County Medical Center in April of 2019. Jeremy’s responsibilities include daily rounding on patients on the Med-Surg unit and CCU/ICU unit as well as referrals for patients to nursing home care, rehab units, home health, community resources, addiction treatment and the list goes on. Jeremy works closely with medical doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure that all patient’s and family’s needs are met.
