Family Clinic of Ashley County

The Family Clinic of Ashley County, est. 1982, merged with Ashley County Medical Center in 2017. The clinic’s physicians, two Family Practice physicians, are both locally grounded as long-time residents of Crossett and graduates of Crossett High School. In 2021, we added a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Ben Walsh has been practicing Family Medicine and providing quality healthcare services to the residents of Crossett and the surrounding area since 1983. Dr. Brad Walsh also specializes in Family Medicine and joined the clinic as a full partner in 2009. Both physicians are board-certified and collectively have over 55 years of clinical practice experience. Julie Bays, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has been in healthcare since 2005. In 2021, she received her Masters of Science in Nursing and is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Services are provided to patients of all ages including diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, preventive care and chronic care management, all using the latest standards of care and evidence-based guidelines for testing and treatment. X-ray and lab are on-site and equipped with the latest technology.

Also on site is an industrial medicine department with qualified staff dedicated to providing services to both local and nonlocal businesses with many types of physicals and drug screens including DOT certifications. Both physicians are Certified Medical Examiners for DOT and Dr. Brad Walsh serves as a certified Medical Review Officer.
