Nursing
Service Backed by More Than 100 Years of Excellence
The nurses at Ashley County Medical Center are a crucial part of our team. As one of the staff members patients interact most with, our nurses contribute a great deal to the success of our care. Patients throughout Crossett have benefited from our hospital’s care for more than a century. Over the years, our nurses have continued to provide a high level of care to our patients that is backed by advanced resources and collective decades of experience among the nursing staff. In order to continually improve our service to the community, we are proud to offer continuing education at our facility. Our nurses can supplement their knowledge and skills in order to capably pursue their professional career goals.
"Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art, it requires an exclusive devotion as hard a preparation, as any painter's or sculptor's work; for what is the having to do with dead canvas or dead marble, compared with having to do with the living body, the temple of God's spirit? It is one of the Fine Arts: I had almost said the finest of Fine Arts." ~Florence Nightingale
