Assistance for Patients at our Crossett Hospital

Ashley County Medical Center’s Social Services Team is here to assist patients and their families with a variety of needs. The social workers complement ACMC’s staff of professional doctors and nurses to take excellent care of all patients and their families

Social Services staff are available Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm and as needed.

Meet the Team

Shajuana Bowman, Case Manager

Meet Shajuana! Shajuana earned her BA of Sociology in May 1994 from the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff. Shajuana began her professional career as a teacher at Carousel Day Service Center from 1995-1997. In 1997, she began her career with the State of AR as a Family Support Specialist with Ashley County DHS where she provided case management in all areas of Public Assistance Programs. Prior to joining ACMC as the Social Service Case Manager, her social service experience includes Case management with the State of AR and a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional with Delta Counseling and Associates.
