Community Connection: A Message from our CEO

Dear staff and friends of Ashley County Medical Center,

What an exciting last quarter we have had at Ashley County Medical Center! ACMC was named a stroke ready site, joined a movement to reduce specimen errors, and awarded the Betty A. Lowe MD Award.

Ashley County Medical Center was named as an Arkansas Stroke Ready Hospital (ArSRH) by the Arkansas Department of Health. Hospitals designated as ArSRH are capable of providing time-critical care to the stroke patient, including initial emergency evaluation, real-time stroke assessment, and treatment through telemedicine.
